Glen has been doing matched betting in Australia for about 6 months now, and is averaging between $1000 and $1200 profit a month!

Where do you currently live?

Currently living in Sydney, New South Wales.

How did you get into matched betting?

I heard about it quite a while back, but never really bothered to get involved. Then about 6 months back I had a lot of off time and decided to at least give it a try. I came across this website on Google, and one thing lead to another, and now I’m going at it full on!

How long have you been matched betting for now?

6 Months or so to the date. 

How many hours a day/week/month do you spend matched betting?

The early stages take a bit mroe time. As I was new I didn’t want to use up all of my cash to deposit into bookies etc, so I literally would do one bet at a time. Wait for it to settle. Then do the second and so on until I fully understood the concept and trusted the system. 

Now, after 6 months, I spend a good few hours a week check daily offers on your daily offers calendar, and then deciding what to bet on.

What’s your favourite event to matched bet on?

UK and European soccer has the best liquidity most of the time on Betfair, so those are great for newbies doing signups. Wherever the offers are really. NRL & AFL is also really profitable. Saturday horses too! 

And which sport or event is most profitable for you?

Horses & the Aussie sports such as AFL.

Do you plan your matched betting days?

Weekends yes. The rest I just smash anything that’s on offer. 

How much cash did you start off with?

I think somewhere between $1200 and $1500. It’s a good number. You can go smaller of course, but I went for the big ones first. 

What’s your average monthly profit?

Average profit a month would be between $1000-$1200. 

What would you say to anyone thinking of starting matched betting?

Just take it slow in the beginning, and triple check everything! After a while you will be backing & laying in less than a minute.
