My question is in regards to the the pairs of odds columns in Betfair. There are two or three columns with blue (match) and pink (lay) boxes. Above these are either ‘1’ ‘X’ or ‘2’. What do these refer to and which ones should I use ?

    Hey,

So with matched betting you are pretty much always laying, so you will be using the pink column.

The 1×2 just means the winner market of game. 1 refers to the first team to win. X refers to a draw, and 2 refers to the second team to win.

So for example if you see a match as I have linked in this comment.

St Helens are 1.25 to lay. The draw is 110 to lay. The Catalans Dragons are 6.60 to lay.

    Hope that makes sense?
