    Races Abandoned at Pakenham?

    Hello,

    I was doing the Pakenham ones at sportsbet this morning.

    After race 2, all the races were called off. I don’t believe race 2 finished either.

    Anyone know what happened? or am I reading it wrong?

    Hey John,

    Seems they had insane winds at Pakenham so they had to abandon all races after the first race! Can happen with horse racing if weather is too bad.

    I thought maybe something terrible had happened like….the favorite won and I didn’t get my bonus bets!!!! 🙂

    Nah, for a moment I thought, hmm maybe there was a stack and they all went down, the whole lot of them dying, hence calling of the whole meet…

    Glad it was just the wind 🙂

    Because I’m only in it for the matching, I didnt realise that sort of thing can put off races 🙂

    p.s. Also sportsbet do races 1-3 for that one…cronwbet just race 1…and I cant remember what neds was…

    Yeah it can! It should never affect us too badly as all bets which are placed on races that get abandoned will be returned.

    Loving this SportsBet race 1-3, $50 bonus bet for 2nd or 3rd this week!

    I hope they keep doing it for the next few months!
